I agree with everything in the other review titled "excellent travel bag". I was able to go to a golf store and try my clubs in different travel bags before making a purchase. A similar bag from Cleveland, while it had a little more room for clubs, had smaller wheels, which resulted in the bottom of the bag dragging along the floor/ground when pulled at the same level as the Caddy Daddy. So I purchased the Caddy Daddy Co-Pilot and took it on a golf trip from San Francisco to Puerto Vallarta. I was able to take a driver, 3, 5 & 7 wood, two hybrids, and 7,8,9,PW,SW and lob wedge (12 clubs), but you have to leave the covers off in order for them to fit in the case and get the cover on correctly. When I arrived in Mexico and pulled out the driver, the graphite shaft what broken completely in half. This was a custom driver costing nearly $350.00. I can only attribute the loss to either the airline luggage handlers in the U.S. or Mexico or perhaps the TSA. I say that because of what is mentioned in the other review, which is that you have to arrange the clubs just right so that the cover slips into the bag and can be properly secured. So, perhaps the TSA inspected the bag, took the cover off, couldn't get it back on correctly, was under pressure and became frustrated. Who knows if the damage occured as a result of trying to maneuver the clubs to get the cover back on!!!When I got home I went to see the other travel bags again just to reassure myself. Anyway, I am keeping this bag since the driver was the only club damaged and will cost about $100 to repair and re-grip. I do like the way the bag stands up on its own, which is handy when standing in long check-in lines, and there are more than adequate storage pockets. I will be purchasing the storage cover from Caddy Daddy from their web-site for around $20.00

Just purchased and used the Caddy Daddy Co-Pilot travel bag. I'm very pleased and recommend it. It combines the features of a standard golf bag with hard cover protection for those airplane trips. There are a lot of pockets for your stuff. The bag is a bit small, but I was able to get 14 clubs in with my oversize driver. You'll have to shift the clubs about some to get an arrangement which will allow the hard top to slip into place, but this took only a couple of minutes of trial and error. The hard top fastens to the bag with 4 velcro straps. I believe the velcro straps are better than buckels as buckels protrude and can break. Yes, in time with many uses the velcro may wear out, but I don't see that as a problem. Seems to me you'd have to the the bag a lot for that to happen. The bag rolls easily and stands by itself. Total weight with my stuff in it was about 30 pounds, well under the airline 50 pound bag limit, but I don't carry tons of stuff (balls, tees, towel, the basics).I purchased separately and recommend the cover for the travel bag. The cover is made of a heavy fabric and slips over the Caddy Daddy Co-Pilot, thus securing and protecting the entire contents of the travel bag. It fastens with a zipper and a velcro strap. The handle on the top of the hard cover is still accessible which allows you to roll the bag behind you. I purchased the cover directly from Caddy Daddy (went to their website)for about $20 including shipping.
