Pros & Cons :i inherited it from a friend that spends half the year in the outdoors so it had plenty of use before i got it.

Pros & Cons :all in all though there are some minor improvements i would like to see for this filter it is a very solid piece of engineering and i think it will remain in my camping/traveling kit for quite some time.

Pros & Cons :the only good thing about the katadyn is that you can call the company and they will send you a new housing unit ,but you still need to have plenty of filters for it .
It worked great at first.

Pros & Cons :i'm guessing it would be great for those filtering clear water only and who are exceptionally careful with their gear given the vulnerability of the quick connect inlet.
Might be great for the vigilant person filtering clear water.

Pros & Cons :i'd read other reviews where folks complained of a weakness in the design of this area, but assumed they were careless in their use of the filter.
Don't Count On It!
