Rule - Fully-Automatic Bilge Pump - 1100 GPH
Rule's completely submersible, fully-automatic bilge pumps eliminate the need for external float switches. These pumps turn on every 2-1/2 minutes for about one second to sense for water; if water is present the pump will run until all water is removed, then it will return to the sensing mode. Features include easy clean snap-lock strainer bases, silent, vibrationless operation, anti-airlock protection, stainless steel shafts, and no burn-out when run dry. 12VDC.

Impeller seems to stick
...This is a back up blige pump. My current Rule 27s stops because of sticky impeller so the peace of mind of an automatic bilge pump is lost. read more

Pros & Cons :unfortunately, replacing the pump is very difficult because it sits under the engine and you can barely touch it, let alone remove and replace the screws that hold the mount in place.
