This is a great stroller. It is very lightweight. Since it has the larger wheels it rolls very smoothly and with hardly any effort. We have taken it to the mall and the zoo and it fits in narrow pathways and standard door openings where others do not. The swivel wheel works great as well, so far. I couldn't imagine having a stroller without one, especially when it is a multi-purpose stroller. It also locks in place for jogging. The brake bar is very nice,(large enough to use your whole foot rather than just your toes) and easy to engage and disengage. The other thing that I should mention is that Schwinn does not make their strollers latch/lock closed when folded. The wheels do quick release for easier storage. I was also bummed when I found out that this model (2009 MODEL#: 13-SC916 Blue/Gray) didn't come with the zip out rain shield, so I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars. Overall the functionality is awesome.

After doing much research on jogging strollers, I decided on the Schwinn because of price and features. I received the stroller in two days once it was shipped. I thought I would have to assemble the whole stroller but I only had to attach the wheels and foot stool. We took the stroller out for the first walk and immediately loved it. The canopy is great and stuffed inside the zipper is a weathershield. Also, my stroller came with a parent organizer that hooks to the handlebar. The seats are great. I did not purchase this stroller for hardcore jogging. I wanted it more for the ease of the swivel front wheel and fast-paced walking and just around town with the kids. I laid my 5 week old in the recline position and my 2 year old sat up and was lounging. My husband and I were teasing each other over who got to push. We had a Joovy Caboose Ultralight Tandem before and the ease of a swivel/locked front wheel makes such a huge difference. I can push with only one hand and hold my 5 year olds hand. Like I said before, I read a ton of reviews on many jogging strollers and my decision was between the Instep Safari swivel & the Schwinn Free Wheeler 2. I purchased the Schwinn because I like the colors and my family has Schwinn bicycles which are great quality and figured this would be too. We feel we made a great choice. The storage on the stroller is great as I have a large Lands End tote as my diaper bag and it fits on the bottom. We are very happy with the stroller and feel that the $250 w/ free shipping was worth the money. Amazon.com had the best value.

Why? 1) It is compact enough to fit in the trunk of my Honda Accord 2) It fits through doors and aisles at the mall 3) It is easy to maneuver with the front wheel swivel 4) There is a big storage space underneath 5) The seats are more upright than an earlier version 6) It is easy to assemble The price is great!!
