The Yakima SKS (Single Key System) lock system is extremely simple to install, require no tools at all. In fact, with a fully assembled rack system, you can install these locks in mere seconds. The locks themselves have a sturdy feel to them, and appear to be solid enough that simple prying doesn't budge the Q-Tower or Q-Clip whatsoever. Rest assured that if anyone tries to make off with your roof racks while these are installed, they are going to attract quite a bit of attention.

It took a little time trying to get the lock into the slot correctly but once I did, it works like a champ. I like that they give you 3 keys and key sign-up form if you ever lose them. Good product. Would recommend.

Locks were perfect for my rack. Extremely easy to install in about a minute for each one.
